Shipping FAQs
Can I ship internationally?
Not yet. Birdie Chance currently supports domestic shipping within Australia only.
Can I reuse old boxes?
Yes, if they’re strong, clean, and undamaged. Remove or cover any old labels and barcodes.
How should I package my item?
Use a sturdy box or tube that matches your item’s size and shape. Avoid flimsy or damaged packaging.
Cushion items with bubble wrap, foam, or paper to prevent movement. Seal all edges with strong packing tape (not masking or duct tape).
Don’t use string, paper wrapping, or fabric bags as the outer layer. Don’t overstuff boxes — they may split in transit.
How do I track shipping and how long does delivery take?
Both the buyer and seller receive a tracking number. You can use this with the carrier to follow the parcel’s journey until it’s delivered.
Generally, items arrive within 2–7 business days, depending on location.
Am I covered if my shipment is lost, stolen, or damaged?
Yes. Every shipment on Birdie Chance includes Total Shipping Protection through XCover. If an item is lost, stolen, or arrives damaged, it’s covered.
Buyers should contact the seller if an issue occurs, and the seller will handle the claim process. Approved claims are usually processed quickly, with payment made directly to the seller, who can then resolve the issue with the buyer.
What if my item is too big for standard shipping?
Most golf gear fits within our carrier limits. Extra-long clubs and other items may need longer boxes. If your parcel is oversized, we’ll flag it during checkout.
Who arranges shipping?
After a sale, we’ll email you a prepaid shipping label. Depending on the option chosen, sellers either drop the parcel at a nearby collection point or have it picked up directly from their home or office — no post office trips required.
