Nope! Birdie Chance is completely free for buyers. You only pay the seller's listed price plus shipping (if applicable). Payments are processed securely through Stripe, with funds held in escrow until your item is delivered or your local pick-up is confirmed.

Birdie Chance protects buyers when items are significantly not as described (e.g., wrong item, undisclosed damage). We don't offer change-of-mind returns, so please review listings carefully before purchase. Please refer to our Terms of Service for further details.

Find an item you love, click 'Buy now' or negotiate the price first, if the seller is open to offers. Pay securely through our platform, and the seller will arrange delivery directly to you using our shipping partners.

Go to Your Listings, find the item you want to remove, and tap the three dots in the top-right corner of the listing image. Select Close Listing and it will be removed from the marketplace.

Selling

Listing an item is free. When your item sells, Birdie Chance charges a 6.5% commission on the final sale price (minimum $0.75), which is deducted automatically from your payout, along with standard Stripe processing fees. The buyer covers shipping costs at checkout — all you need to do is pack your item and print the prepaid label (or use the printer‑free option, if available). We handle the rest to make selling simple and secure.

Once the buyer receives and confirms the item, we release payment to your nominated bank account within 1-2 business days. If the buyer doesn’t mark the item as received, the payment is automatically released after 14 days. Funds then transfer to you within 1–2 days.
